Yuppie

Yuppie is a term that represents "young urban professional". Yuppies are well educated young people who work on responsible job positions, earn lots of money and who like to show their wealth. Yuppies usually have specific lifestyle; they live dynamic lives, they dress expensive suits, their main goal is to be good (or the best) in the business and make lots of money. They are really passionate for their work, money making and beating their competition.

Although I don't have all these characteristics, I consider myself as a yuppie. Which typical yuppie characteristics I possess? I am young :), actually, not as young as I would like to be (born in 1983). I do earn quite of money and I'm really passionate about making money. My lifestyle is not typical for yuppies. I don't work in the City or in downtown, I don't work for corporate company, neither I work 9 till 5.

Money making yuppie

What I am passionate about is online marketing. I love building my own websites and watch making profit from them. I have dozens of websites with all kind of contents from different niches. Work from home and doing some ejobs has many advantages, just like disadvantages as well. One of the best advantages and my favorite is making passive income. That means, once your website gets on top positions on Google and other search engines, you can see how your income is growing, even without much effort. Actually, you can do some other job and work it regularly, and still you would be making money.

The main disadvantage of working online is, at least for me it is, lack of pressure to work hard on daily basis. Sometimes it passes 7 days or more that I don't look at my websites and do a thing about them. Don't get me wrong, you could always do something to improve your website, at least to improve their search engine positions.

Beekeeping yuppie

Now we get to my favorite thing, my hobby. In my free time, i'm beekeeping. I started beekeeping when I was a kid. Once you start beekeeping, you can't stop. It relaxes me, love to watch bees how they work hard and love to get honey in the end of summer. Also, I have learned a lot from bees, how to be more rational and work harder, including some interesting stuff about animal socialization psychology.
